Madkush X Motherlode

• Combination of high and stoned

• Strong /heavy smell

• Very potent

Benefits of the Motherlode kush

This hybrid has been developed to lean towards the Indica dominant side, which means that there are predominantly indica type plants with an average flowering time of 8-9 weeks. The Motherlode kush provides easy-to-grow plants that quickly fill your space. This is the advantage of a hybrid plant and optimally used in this crossing. Very potent strain with diesel, Herijuana and kush influences.

Why choose Motherlode kush seeds

If you're a fan of extremely strong stoned with a good dose of high then this is the kind where you're looking. Due to the parents that were used in this species, different old school types come up with smell, taste and effect. If you want a strong growing plant but still indica dominant buds then the motherlode-kush is the strain for you!

How Motherlode kush originated

The Madkush (Madscientist X pre98 bubba kush) mother we have used in this excels in beautiful bud structure and Christmas tree type compact growth. Heavy weighing and especially strong smelling buds with an overtone of kush and herijuana, the herijuana influence comes from the Madscientist (herijuana X white widow).

The pollinating mother is the selected Motherlode clone which is described in detail in the accompanying product page. Briefly described, this mother is a combination of diesel and fruit with a slightly more exuberant growth as the Madkush. The combination of these two provides various plant types ranging from strong Indica to Indica with a touch of hybrid, the same goes for the smell and taste and effect.

Seeds are developed by Knutsel and Sannie.

Flowering and growth of Motherlodekush

Because neither parents are not tall growers, the Motherlode kush will remain low on average for a hybrid plant. It will take relatively few of these beautiful wide plants to accomplish a nicely filled space. This species lends itself perfectly for a SOG (sea of green) setting without the need for training. In case she becomes too tall, she can be tied up.

The flowering phenomena start to appear shortly after the clock is converted to 12/12, depending on the pot size and the size of the plant in ratio to the pot size when put in bloom. It might be wise to place a stick next to the plants for extra support as the buds can cause the plant to tip over or even worse, break them.

Yield and harvest of the Motherlode kush seeds

Apart from the main advantages such as smell, taste and results of the harvest, the Motherlode kush also puts a nice weight in the scale which ensures that there is more than enough to enjoy of all that yumminess. A harvest of 500 grams or more under a 600 Watt lamp is easily feasible.

Medicinal properties of Motherlode kush

Thanks to the combination of High and Stoned, Motherlode Kush is very versatile for medicinal purposes. Due to the very high THC content of 25% or more, it creates an explosive high with an existing stoned which is experienced afterward. The narcotic effect makes this type extra suitable for patients with ADD / ADHD and can be used as a muscle relaxant.

I got these seeds on my freebies
My first month of grow has been so easy and bigger than normal .this plant seems to grow very fast. Can not wait to enjoy this one. Sannies has always come through. Thanks Timbud Brown
I popped 5 of the Motherlode Kush Fem seeds outdoors in early July around 36N latitude. I topped them at the 3rd node and gave 3 of them away. I kept the two most vigorous growers. They got strong direct sunlight from about 8am to 6pm. Light got a little shorter going later into the season. Temps during July and Aug were as high as 100F but more generally around 92F. Temps in Sep were around 85-90F. Oct was 75-85F

They grew with approx 2" internodal spacing. The fan leaves were smaller than previous indica grows. The leaves were light green. They never got deep rich green that I expect with veg nutrients. They took well to being topped and formed several main branches. I had them going in 5gal pots. In hindsight, I should have used 10gal pots, but I didn't expect them to get as big and be as thirsty as they were. They were very thirsty, drinking much more than White Widow growing along side them.

In flower, they stretched about 20in to an overall height of about 48in. First signs of pistils was on Aug 10th. First cloudy trichs on Oct 11th. Estimate will be ready to chop on 18 Oct. That makes it 10 weeks from first pistils to harvest.

The growth structure, leaf shape, size, and color among all 5 plants was very consistent. Of the two I kept, they have distinctly different scents. One is earthy sandalwood, the other is bubblegum fruity. The leaves yellowed a lot during flowering, and they were getting the same nutes as other varieties that were growing along side them and were much more green. I'm not sure if that means the Motherlode Kush likes more N, or it just always has light green leaves. Anyway, the buds filled out nicely during flower. The plant that smelled fruity had the fan leaves around the main buds turn black. The more earthy scented plant just stayed yellowish-green. It is very sticky, crystal-covered, resinous, fat, medium to high density buds, with lots of good side buds. The density is good, but it's not like rocks. Production is above average per plant (per my previous experience). Looks like it's going to be very good.

I kept cuts of both to use for mothers, and I might get more beans to see if I discover any other phenos. I crossed both with a very vigorous Triple Pakistan male I got from Sannie. I'm excited to see what those beans make.

I gave 4/5 stars because I save that 5th star for something really special. The Motherlode Kush was very good and easy to grow. I recommend it for sure.
